Santa Anna IT Research Institute AB has been approved as a member of the WASP Research Arenas (WARA), a national research and innovation program focused on AI and public safety.
WASP WARA Community offer increased research impact and potential for industrially significant breakthroughs. Santa Anna and WARA community share similar vision “to validate and refine scientific theories in real-world settings that are relevant to industries.” Therefore, this partnership further strengthens our commitment to collaboration between research, society, and practitioners in the field of public safety mfl.

Together with WARA-PS & Media and Language, Santa Anna is currently working on a joint project, “Interactive Digital Twin through Multimodal AI”, which aims to create 3D visualized crime scenes that transform complex fictional crimes and investigations into publicly interactive experiences. These visualizations will support method development, foster new research, and enhance society’s ability to tackle emerging crimes such as AI-driven fraud and cybercrime, as well as other cases where investigative work can benefit from AI and visualization technologies.
Other project partners for the “Interactive Digital Twin through Multimodal AI” are: The Swedish Police Authority, Linköping University, Lutra Interactive, Norrköping Visualisering, East Sweden Game, AI Sweden, University of Copenhagen, and Intel Sweden. The project is funded by WASP and Avancerad Digitalisering.
